VACCINATIONS FOR SOUTH EAST ASIA
What vaccines you choose is mostly up to you - how much risk are you willing to take to save a few hundred pounds?

Some vaccines are mandatory in specific situations, while others are strongly recommended. Below we break everything down by country, explain what's actually required, and share our honest experience as travellers.
Mandatory vaccines
-
There are NO mandatory vaccines for entering any South East Asian country
Exception: Yellow fever
-
Only if arriving from a country with risk of yellow fever transmission
-
Or transiting 12+ hours through a country with risk of yellow fever transmission
All travellers are recommended to be up to date with routine vaccinations, including MMR, DTP, Polio, and Influenza
Do I really need all of these?
At Beyond The Herd, we'd personally rather spend an extra £500 and be safe, rather than risk becoming that horror story that will be told to future travellers.
However, if you really don't want to get them all, we have created a list (that you can see below) of how each one is spread and have ranked the importance of them.

THERE ARE ADDITIONAL VACCINES RECOMMENDED / NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CERTAIN TRAVELLERS, DEPENDING ON THEIR MEDICAL HISTORY, LENGTH OF STAY AND ACTIVITIES PLANNED TO BE PARTAKEN IN.
PLEASE CHECK THE OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT WEBSITES BEFORE MAKING A DECISION.

REMINDER - BEYOND THE HERD RECOMMENDS EVERY VACCINE TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE.
