Putting it simply, we exist to make your travels and travel planning easier.
Whether it's your first time putting the backpack on, or you're a seasoned traveller just planning your next trip, or maybe you're here to give tips of your own in the community section - what ever your motives, we welcome you here and are pleased that the shackles of the mundane life have not been placed on you.
As you navigate your way through the website, you will see that we have it all covered - everything you could possibly need to know - in the most simple format.
The destinations we currently have information on will only grow - as our team continues to travel and explore new places themselves.
Every destination Beyond The Herd has to offer, has been backpacked by at least 1 person on our team - because we believe first hand experiences matter.

Herd-breakers
Anyone who signs up to become a member (completely free of charge of course) becomes a Herdbreaker.
As a member you'll have exclusive viewership to our tried, tested and perfected detailed travel routes (non members can still see the overview!) as well as belonging to a community of like minded people - where you can freely discuss your travels and experiences / ask questions or concerns you may have.
Herdbreakers are people who’ve chosen to step outside the default routine and explore what else life has to offer - whether that’s a few weeks / months away or a longer journey.
It’s not about abandoning responsibility.
It’s about choosing experience over autopilot.

The Beyond The Herd Collective is a small group of sponsored travellers who represent the mindset in action.
